I contacted Akers of Lawn to remove my existing grass ( if that is what you call it ) that had been laid on clay by the previous owners.I was advised that there is 2 ways to fix that lawn.One is scarifying which would be a temporary fix, or option two that is to remove the existing lawn completely. The soil would then be improved by adding Gypsum, calcium, natural minerals, iron, zinc and organic to the clay.A loan turf mix would then be the base for the instant turf to be laid on. I went for the 2nd option.Drainage was also an issue that was rectified before the turf was laid.Overall, Akers of Lawn were very professional in all the work that was carried out and cleaned up afterwards.The men worked very hard that day in giving me a great lawn that I can now enjoy.I would recommend Akers of Lawn to anyone that needs work done to an existing lawn or a new lawn.Services: Yard drainage, Lawn care, Lawn landscaping
